Jeremie Thompson Announces Campaign for Ferguson Township Supervisor

STATE COLLEGE, PA – Jeremie Thompson will be seeking election to the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors this year. 

Jeremie is an experienced and dedicated resident of the Township. Current Chair of the Ferguson Township Planning Commission, Jeremie will bring years of knowledge and understanding of the Township to the Board of Supervisors. Over the past 3 years, Jeremie has collaborated with board members, planning commission members, regional partners, staff, and residents on the Zoning and Subdivision & Land Development Ordinance re-write, the adoption of the Tree Preservation Ordinance, as well as many transportation improvements and housing affordability matters. He previously served as Ferguson Township representative to the Centre Region Planning Commission.

Outside of his work on the Planning Commission, Jeremie is currently a Human Resources Associate at Penn State University. In addition, Jeremie is also a freelance Merchandiser for Winston Retail Solutions providing field merchandising services for Adidas, UnderArmour, Levi’s, Samsung and other retail clients. Previously, Jeremie worked extensively in customer service and retail.

Jeremie is a graduate of Penn State University, where he earned a degree in Labor and Employment Relations. He has lived in the Park Forest neighborhood for the past 8 years.
